Celebration was the theme of this year’s Awards Night, said Mike Ross, Chair of the Wight Eagles FC, in opening this year’s event. Nearly 200 parents and players attended the evening, held at the Island Riding Centre on Saturday, 14 July.
Guests of Honour were Graham Moores, Chair of Hampshire FA, and his wife. They presented the Hampshire Championship awards to our Under 15 and Under 13 teams, and their runners-up medals to our Under 11s.
There were trophies for each of our players, including our Senior team, and the day was rounded off by a meal and disco late into the night. A prize raffle raised a record £527 for the club,
